Privacy notice
How we handle your information
This notice explains what we collect when you visit this site or book a workshop, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible for your information
The responsible party is Tenacious Property (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2020/642173/07, of 39 Olive Schreiner Street, Parow North, Cape Town, 7500. This is the company that sells the workshop tickets and decides how your information is used.

What we collect, and why

We do not collect your card details and we never see them. Payment is taken on our payment provider’s own secure checkout page, not on this site.
On what basis we use it
To deliver what you bought. Once you book, we need your details to perform the contract between us. That is the basis for your receipt, your welcome email, your reminders and your event-day messages.
Because the law requires it. We keep records of sales and refunds for the periods South African tax and consumer law require.
With your consent, and only with your consent, for marketing. We only send you marketing about future workshops, coaching or property investing if you have ticked the box asking us to. That box is never ticked for you. You can withdraw consent at any time and every marketing message carries a way to opt out.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run this business. They only process your information on our instructions.
- Our customer platform holds your contact record, your booking and the messages we send you.
- Our payment provider processes your card payment and holds the transaction record.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok receive anonymous measurement events about page views and ticket-button clicks, described below.
- Our venue receives the number of guests and any dietary requirements you tell us about. It does not receive your contact details unless you ask us to pass them on.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Some of these providers process information outside South Africa. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s contractual commitments to protect your information to a standard comparable to POPIA.
Cookies and advertising
This site runs the Meta pixel. It records that a browser viewed a page or clicked a ticket button, so that we can tell which adverts are worth paying for. It does not receive your name, your email address or your mobile number from this site. If we add the TikTok pixel later it will work in the same way and this notice will say so.
You can limit this in your browser settings, through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or with any standard ad blocker. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as South African tax and consumer law requires, currently five years from the end of the financial year in which the sale happened.
Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out, and then we keep the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete what we no longer need, and to stop marketing to you. Ask by emailing info@tenaciousproperty.co.za. We answer within a reasonable time and we do not charge for a first request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, at inforegulator.org.za.
Keeping it safe
Access to your details is limited to the people who need it to run the events. Our platforms are protected by individual accounts and passwords. If something goes wrong that puts your information at real risk, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as the Act requires.
