Cancelling, transferring and changing your booking
These terms apply to every ticket for the Airbnb Training Workshop with Ridhwaan Basa, October and November 2026. They are shown to you at checkout before you pay.
Who you are buying from
Your ticket is sold to you by Tenacious Property (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2020/642173/07, of 39 Olive Schreiner Street, Parow North, Cape Town, 7500. Your contract for the ticket is with this company.
VAT. Tenacious Property (Pty) Ltd is not a VAT vendor. The prices shown on the booking pages are the full amount you pay, and no VAT is charged on them.
Your ticket
Your ticket admits one person to the workshop named on it, on the date and in the city named on it. Standard and VIP tickets differ only in what is included, which is set out on the booking page.
Cancelling your booking
You may cancel at any time. Because a seat is held for you and taken out of sale, we retain a cancellation fee that depends on how much notice you give.

A fairness rule that overrides the table. If we resell your seat, you receive everything back except a R50 administration fee, whatever notice you gave, including at seven days or less. The table exists to cover a seat we cannot resell, not to profit from a cancellation.
Death or hospitalisation. We retain no cancellation fee at all where you cannot honour the booking because the person the booking was made for has died or has been hospitalised. Tell us and send whatever confirmation you reasonably have, and the full amount is refunded to you. This reflects section 17(5) of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
The R50 covers the payment processing fee and the work of re-issuing the seat. It applies to cancellations only. There is no administration fee for moving to another city and none for passing your seat to someone else. The administration fee is never more than the refund due to you, so a cancellation can never reduce your refund below zero and can never leave you owing us money.
Transferring to another city
You may move your booking to another city on this tour at no charge, provided you tell us at least 7 days before the workshop you are booked on and a seat is available in the city you are moving to. Moving from Standard to VIP means paying the difference; moving from VIP to Standard means we refund it. A transfer may be made once.
Sending someone else instead
You may pass your seat to another person at no charge up to 48 hours before the workshop. Send us their full name, email address and mobile number and we will reissue the booking.
If we change or cancel the workshop
If we move the date or the city, you may either keep your booking on the new arrangements or cancel for a full refund, and that choice is yours alone. If we cancel outright, you receive a full refund. In neither case do we retain a cancellation fee, because the change is ours and not yours.
If we move to a different venue within the same city and on the same date, we will tell you as soon as we know and send you the new address and directions in writing. A venue change of that kind does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
Refunds, and not showing up
How refunds are paid. Back to the card or account you paid from, within 10 business days of us agreeing the refund.
Not showing up. A seat that is neither cancelled nor transferred and is not used on the day is not refundable, because the cost of the seat has by then been incurred in full.
How to cancel or transfer
Email zain@tenaciousproperty.co.za with your name and the email address you booked with. Your booking confirmation is your proof of purchase.
These terms do not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. Published 20 August 2026.
